About me

Hi, I am Sam Frank. I am a freshman student at George Washington University and I am making this website for a project that I was assigned to do in American history Class where I pick a topic and create Exhibit Gallery in order to tell the story about what happened and to show its significance. This topic really speaks to me because of my religion. Being Jewish, I have learned about the massacres that went on in Eastern Europe at the time of the Holocaust. The images of mass graves where innocent men, women, and children were brutally murdered by death squads is etched in my mind. I cannot help but see the similarity between that and what happened at the Wounded Knee. Through my exhibit I want to make sure that the images of the murdered innocence of the tribe are on full display and to show the inhumane treatment of the Native American people throughout most of the 19th century.
